On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Villa Selvatico da Porto will literally become the "theater" of an exceptional event: the show "Giulietta," produced by Enrico Carretta and directed by Andrea de Manincor, will be staged in the garden in front of the villa.
The show is inspired by the novella of the same name written by the soldier and scholar Luigi da Porto in the early 1500s. This novella, reworked by other writers and translated into French and then English, reached Shakespeare in the late 16th century, who created the most famous love tragedy of all time.
The show will be preceded by a brief presentation of the Villa and some historical notes on Luigi da Porto.
