The official inauguration of the new multipurpose hall of Villa Selvatico da Porto took place on April 5th. The hall was created from the restoration of the old stable of the villa's building complex.
The ribbon was cut with the participation of the Mayor of Vigonza Gianmaria Boscaro and the councilors for Productive Activities Gottardello and Private Construction Polato, and an audience of friends and representatives of the cultural associations of the territory. Alessandra da Porto briefly illustrated the stages of the restoration project, which began in 2022 with the adhesion to the PNRR "Rural Architecture" call, and concretely developed with the redevelopment and restoration works carried out between mid-2023 and the end of 2024. Mayor Boscaro for his part praised the work of conservation and enhancement of this site carried out by the da Porto family over the years.
Now this new space officially opens to rural tourism activities, such as visits to the Villa or the organization of recreational moments, as well as cultural activities related to the history, landscape and architectural heritage of the Vigontino area.
